Bel Kil
Bel Kil is an Australian singer-songwriter, producer and engineer. Growing up on a farm in the Northern Grampians, surrounded by a family with a love of music, Bel’s inquisitive mind led to a childhood spent constructing, creating and playing guitar. Music was always at the forefront but the confidence to pursue it as a career came later after a major bike accident.
Bel Kil’s debut EP features incisive perceptions of life, love and dreams, laid bare on a backdrop of rousing, spirited beats and sweeping anthemic choruses. My Year calls for weekend road trips and summer festivals, striking a balance between youthful nostalgia and hope for the future.
‘My Year’ garnered recognition as a finalist in the renowned Unsigned Only and International Songwriting Competitions, as well as widespread support from media and radio. She’s packed-out shows at The Toff, Leadbeater, Evelyn, and The Barwon Club, supported artists including ARIA nominee Odette and Sloane Peterson, graced numerous festivals, and is set to release exciting new music in early 2024.ctive.”
