Mama’s Brew is an exciting new band, but the players have been playing together for many years in various forms. The songs transport you to the 70s disco era and then to 90s funk/pop. The singer, drummer and bass player, Stevie P, Andrew Yeaman and Nick Hemstrom started their musical journeys together in high school and have played consistently together in various outfits ever since, helping to bring a flowing magic to the sound. The addition of John Gould on guitar has propelled the outfit in an exciting way and Dagmar Yeaman adds depth with smooth harmonies. For FRL, Mama’s Brew will be joined by special guest Siobhan Housden whose soaring vocals have been setting rooms alight in Melbourne for the last decade.
